I have spent more time than I like (which is any amount of time), doing the last things that are necessary to completely completing a quilt. I squared it up. Sorry no picture. I put on the binding.
And I am in the process of putting on the Velcro that will be part of the whole hanging apparatus. The loop part of the Velcro goes on a wooden strip and then I attach picture hanging wire to the wood. So the wooden bar needs to be trimmed and the holes for the wire need to be drilled.
I know that these don't sound like much, but they are time consuming. Especially when I just want to begin the sewing of the next project! I know, I know. Wah, wah, wah. In my morning meditation I was reading Psalm 5:3 In the morning O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. So I'm waiting, in expectation, for the Lord to bring buyers to my door in enough numbers so that I can pay an assistant to do these kinds of tasks for me! Though I suspect He will use these things to teach me patience and perseverance! :-D
Anyway! I am hoping to get the hanging stuff done so that I can take the quilt to the photographer tomorrow. Then I am going to see and cuddle my new grandson. And I am taking with me another changing pad. This is the back so you can see the focus fabric.

I fussy cut around the 5 different bunnies, and then used them to make the front.
Hopefully when I get back, my Zentangle quilt will be under way. I have to let Calvin sleep in his bed sometime!
